- What confusion? If you do not like a keyboard shortcut, you change
- it. This is a feature that makes a GEM program user-friendly, and
- not having it detracts from the program somewhat. It is more work
- for the programmer, but only once. Anyone programming in
- a reasonably modular language can use the same set of functions
- for every program they write. As for it being a mess for the user,
- this is simply nonsense. If the user does not want to change the
- keyboard shortcuts, he never has to even look at this feature. If
- he does, the method should be simple enough that it is NOT a mess
- for the user.
